Pre-visualization and perseverance are the most important things in photography. With Pre-visualization, I always tell them to learn to see the photo before you shoot the photo.
Look at the light, the shadows, compose the photo in your mind, slow down. In the digital world, it’s hard for kids to slow down, everything is so immediate, patience, experience the moment. Perseverance comes into play in different ways, learn everything you can about Photography and don’t give up, don’t take “no” for an answer. It may take time, maybe years, if it was easy everyone would do it.
If it’s important to you, persevere, keep striving. It’s true in everything, true in life.
